With this in mind, recoating of floors previously finished with Urethanes can be accomplished — however adhesion cannot be be guaranteed without knowing how the floor was previously maintained and cleaned.

When you order Hardwood Floor Refinishing from Sandman Refinishing Company you can expect that there will be some dust and odor necessarily released as the old surface is removed and the new applied. We incorporate advanced technologies to minimize dust and odors, including using high-velocity exhaust fans to help cure the air.

Please keep in mind that each home and individual is unique. Odor control technologies are used but may not prove adequate for very sensitive people. We do make adjustments by adding additional odor control when needed. All finishes are release some degree of potentially harmful solvents.
